Responsibilities:
Prepare hot and cold menu items, including grill, sauté, salad bar, and line service
Follow menu cycles and standardized recipes for proper preparation, portioning, and presentation
Taste and test food to ensure quality and palatability
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
Support overall kitchen operations, including inventory and prep
Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times
Work collaboratively with the dining team to meet meal service timelines
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous cooking experience required; senior living or healthcare setting a plus
Knowledge of food production, portion control, and food handling safety
Strong attention to detail and food presentation
Excellent organization and communication skills
Dependability and teamwork required
Must be available to work evening (PM) shifts and weekends
